Dedicated Fleet or Spot FTL? Choosing the Right Trucking Model
Regular volumes deserve dedicated trucks; irregular ones suit the spot market. Here is how to decide — and how to combine both.

Keep your operations moving without the overhead of owning vehicles. TQM International provides fully managed fleet solutions and truck rental across Saudi Arabia — including vans, dynas, trailers, passenger vans and food vans.
We handle drivers, maintenance, insurance and GPS tracking, so you get a dependable dedicated fleet with predictable costs and zero downtime headaches.
This page is about renting vehicles and handing us the running of them. If what you need instead is guaranteed exclusive capacity on a long-term contract, our dedicated fleet solutions page covers that — the difference matters, because the commercial model and the commitment are not the same.
Rental suits a project with an end date, a seasonal peak, a vehicle off the road for repair, or a new route you are testing before committing. You rent by the day, week or month; we supply the vehicle, keep it serviced and legal, and provide a licensed driver if you want one. When the rental ends, the commitment ends with it.
Fleet management is the same idea applied to vehicles you already run. We take on scheduled maintenance and repair, registration and inspection renewals, insurance administration, driver recruitment and hours compliance, telematics monitoring and replacement vehicles when one is off the road. You keep operational control of where the trucks go; we absorb the workshop, the paperwork and the HR.
Both models remove the parts of running vehicles that consume management time without differentiating your business: the Transport General Authority licensing, the weighbridge compliance, the driver turnover, and the maintenance schedule that slips exactly when you are busiest.

Yes, all servicing, maintenance and insurance are managed by us for a fixed cost.
We offer flexible short-term and long-term contracts to match your needs.
Rental is flexible and short-term: you take a vehicle for a day, a week or a month and hand it back with no further commitment. A dedicated fleet is a long-term contract where vehicles and drivers are assigned exclusively to your operation, often branded, at a fixed monthly price with contractual service levels. Rental buys flexibility; dedicated buys guaranteed capacity.
Yes. Scheduled servicing, repairs, registration and inspection renewals and insurance administration are ours, and we provide a replacement vehicle if one goes off the road so your operation does not stop.
Yes. Drivers hold the appropriate heavy-vehicle licence plus any certification the cargo requires — cold chain, dangerous goods or oversized loads — and their hours and compliance remain our responsibility, not yours.
Daily. Short-term rental is common for covering a vehicle in the workshop or handling an unexpected order, and most customers then settle into weekly or monthly terms once the pattern is clear.
Yes — that is fleet management rather than rental. We take on maintenance, registration and inspection renewals, insurance administration, driver recruitment and hours compliance, and telematics monitoring, while you keep operational control of the routes.
Yes, across the range from reefer vans to 40-ft reefer trailers, including dual-chamber units. They are maintained and temperature-mapped the same way as our own cold chain fleet.
