Less-than-truckload (LTL) freight moves through a hub network, so transit times are longer than a direct full truck load but far more predictable than many shippers expect. Below are typical door-to-door times for palletised LTL freight collected before the daily cut-off in Saudi Arabia.
Central region lanes
- Riyadh to Dammam / Al Khobar / Jubail: 1 business day.
- Riyadh to Al Qassim (Buraidah, Unaizah): 1 business day.
- Riyadh to Al Kharj and Al Majma'ah: same or next day.
East–west lanes
- Riyadh to Jeddah: 2 to 3 business days.
- Riyadh to Makkah and Taif: 2 to 3 business days.
- Riyadh to Madinah: 3 business days.
- Dammam to Jeddah: 3 to 4 business days.
Southern and northern regions
- Riyadh to Abha, Khamis Mushait and Jizan: 3 to 4 business days.

What affects transit time
Collection after the cut-off (usually early afternoon) adds a day. Weekends and public holidays pause line-haul movements. Deliveries to malls, hospitals and industrial cities may require appointment booking, and remote addresses outside city limits may be served on fixed days of the week.
How to shorten it
Book collections early in the day, palletise freight before the driver arrives, and provide complete consignee details including a mobile number. For guaranteed dates, ask for an FTL or express partial-load quote.
